Do you prefer to shop online, in your own time, from the convenience of your home or would you rather have a feel for the products and chat to the sales assistant before purchasing? At Skye Candles, we try to make the brand accessible to everyone, whether you can come see us in person or not. However, for one reason or another, we are not always able to offer the ranges from our independent suppliers on our website. So we decided to dedicate the space to them on our blog, introduce them a little and give you a chance to browse their platforms virtually. And we decided to start with the beautiful art and designs you can find in our shops.
Cath Waters cathwaters.com
Cath Waters is an award winning Scottish landscape digital artist and photographer living on the Isle of Skye.
The inspiration for Cath's landscape work comes from the special places she finds on her travels around Scotland as well as the beauty surrounding her home on the Isle of Skye.
Several years ago Cath and her family fulfilled a lifelong dream and moved to the Isle of Skye.
Cath now has workshops in Dunvegan, Isle of Skye and in Grangemouth, Central Scotland, where small teams of talented ladies print and frame Cath's artwork and make products such as mugs, coasters, tiles and Cath's range of 'wearable art' jewellery. The rest of Cath's products are all made by small suppliers in Scotland or the UK, including our shops.

Chloe Gardner chloegardner.com
Chloe is passionate about all things colour. The inspiration behind her designs stems from a combination of Scottish life and nature and Brazilian joie de vivre. Similarly to our collections, Chloe’s art is inspired by Scottish nature and the beach on her doorstep, in a cottage just outside of Edinburgh, surrounded by light airy woods in all their beauty, sounds and smells. Combined with the life experiences Chloe got living in Brazil. This unique mash up translates into bright and beautiful designs, that are printed onto kitchenware, stationary and various textiles. Chloe’s Coo espresso cups a hit in all of our shops!
