Fred Again in the Hebrides again

 

Fred Again is a producer, singer/song-writer and a DJ. Known for collaboration with artists such as Ed Sheeran, George Ezra, Rita Ora and many many more. Fred surprised his fans by adding three unexpected venues to his tour this spring. Somewhere between playing Coachella and Glastonbury festivals, the DJ is also playing in the town halls in Stornoway, Harris and tonight, Broadford!

Reminiscent of the time Fred got “the mad train up to Mallaig”, it’s clear his trip to the isles had left an impression on the artist. The shows are, understandably, promised to be different and, judging by the caption of the mini tour announcement post he’s rather excited for the special gigs.

 

And why are we talking about all this? Well, our trusted Broadford shop was where the tickets for tonight’s show were being sold. It’s been so fun to be a small part of the experience! For the first time, we’ve had people literally camping out the night before, waiting for our shop to open. It’s probably not a huge spoiler to say they’ve sold out FAST.

 

And although the Bradford Hall has no shortage of talented performers, it is fantastic to see that it is on the radar for the local and world-class performers alike.

 

The artist newest album called Secret Life is being released on Friday (tomorrow), following his gig in Broadford town hall tonight, so needless to say, it should be a great show. Let us know if you’re going!
