Father's Day Favourites

  • by Caroline McQuistin

Whilst some people have a father figure in their life who is incredibly easy to buy for, others face the complete opposite problem. If that's the case, we're here to help! You may not have been planning to buy a candle for Father’s day, but the men of Skye Candles are about to tell you why you should. Here are some of their favourite fragrances and why. Hopefully, it’ll provide you with some inspiration.

Jordan - Citrus Rush

Whilst most people use candles to ease them into an evening of relaxation, Jordan is quite the opposite. He lights a citrus rush candle to get him pumped for a day of being out and about on his bike. We can understand why, with this zesty freshness designed to energise the mood of any room instantly.

Lee - Sleep Sensation

In direct contrast to Jordan, Lee uses his favourite scent as the ultimate relaxation enhancer. After a day on the hills and exploring the island with his dog, Lee puts the kettle on, grabs his book and lights Sleep Sensation.

James - Scots Pine

Asking James this question is almost be like asking a parent to pick a favourite child. However, in this case, it’s the powerful and pleasant combination of essential oils that has Scots Pine pip the other fragrances at the post and take the top spot for the father of Skye Candles.

Charlie - Highland Gorse

The coconut aroma of our Gorse fragrance conjures up fond memories of summer for Charlie. He loves the playfulness of this scent and it also reminds him of feeling great after a run over the Skye Bridge on a sunny day when the gorse is in full bloom.

So, if you’re still scratching your head wondering what to treat your Dad to this Sunday, come see us in store or shop online. Remember you can send directly online and add a gift note at the checkout.
