The Isle of Skye is known for its rugged landscapes, wild coastlines and rich history.

As the largest island in the Inner Hebrides archipelago, it is home to around 12,000 people. Now a bustling tourist destination, the island’s economy can be fragile, and only recently has the population started to stabilise from a rapid decline, though it still remains half of what it once was.

It always hurts to see so many talented friends and family forced to leave the island in search of work or other opportunities. Trying to change this is at the heart of what we do, and we will never stop trying. The people and the community are what makes the Gàidhealtachd so special. 

Our products are a true celebration of the pride and connection we hold with our Hebridean isle, and by creating them right here on the island for you, we can continue to grow, generate jobs, and contribute to our community for years to come.
